This was one of the most beautiful vacation we have had. The people in Maldives are very nice and friendly, and, in particular, Sameer, his son Rishfan and his staff are absolutely amazing. Mr. Sameer is the perfect host. Very guest-oriented, not too pushy but always there to inform or help you. A hard worker who gives his best so that his guests feel comfortable and perfectly treated! The accommodation was as expected, the rooms are perfectly arranged and equipped. Sameer is offering breakfast, lunch and dinner and you can order one day in advance. You can enjoy Maldivian typical dishes, fish, seafood, chicken, pasta, salads etc. The food was excellent and made with love. You will always have cold water available on the terrasse and at the reception. Regarding trips, I strongly recommend having them with Sameer. He knows everything about Maldives and the surroundings, and offers impeccable services. If you want to see the perfect sunset, I recommend you to go fishing with Sameer. He will teach you with a lot of patience how to throw the line and feel if the fish bites. With a little bit of luck, you'll catch the Giant Trevally (as we did 😊), which is considered a specific trophy on the island. We have also had a customized trip to the local Himmafushi sand-bank and another nice small island in the area (Vabboahura). Ask Sameer for this trip, you will not regret it. Finally, we have also tried a snorkeling trip with Sameer, and he has filmed us with his GoPro camera and shared the video. By staying at Sameer, you will understand the Maldivian life style, try the local food, understand the culture and history of Maldives (from Sameer and Rishfan), enjoy very good accommodation and food at Sunrise Huraa. The rooms were very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Beds are very comfortable. They made airport transfer very easy. Very close to the bikini beach and away from the busier part of the island although the island is very laid back.

Left our bags to go eat (had to wait to pay) and came back and they were moved and the shoes were not so we forgot them in our haste.

I've spend 2 very peaceful and beautiful days in Huraa. Owner of Thw Sunrise is very helpful as all crew that is working here. They help us with ferry from Male (book and directions to jetty) also advice us what is the best way to get there from other island. He not only booked our ferry and to Male, but also was waiting for us when we arrived and helped with baggage. We could pay him and the price was good (10$ / person). Our room was clean and had everything that is needed for a stay here. Ac and fan was working very well (I didn't know that fan can work that good with heat!) Clean towels and free water were outside the room beside the basket when you can put dirty towels. I can only recommend this place to stay in this beautiful island. There are also bikes that you can borrow (for free) and ride around.

Very committed staff. Very nice was plenty of towels for bathing and beach. The owner provided drinking water. The breakfast was delicious. The owner helped with luggage transport.

The owner was very nice and friendly. Even the rest of staff was also very friendly.
