SBG Resort Lambug

The owners were amazingly nice and accommodating. The location is closish to Kawasan falls and you can get picked up from the hotel by the guide for no extra fee. They sell the trip there at the hotel. Rooms feel new and super clean.

German Owner ...You can see that ...everything is very good,...room was good with a smaal fridge + waterheter, table outside , split AC ,,,Beds are big .. Outside very good at pool and garden....

When i looked at pictures i thought that i cold walk from resort DOWN to beach and than walk at shoreline to Lambug beach ...BUT You have to go after road to Lambug beach ...10-15 min walk ...Not so nice We tried to get some dinner at a steak house ,,,apprx 3 km from resort ...but..They closed 7 PM !!!!!!! So ouer dinner was a bottle of bear in a kiosk near steak house Food at evening at Lambug beach at evening ...Dont Know , we didnt go there ...day time you can get foot and bear

The bike rental was easy and the atmosphere was very calming. The hosts were lovely to be around.

Location is slightly hard to reach. Bike rental is almost essential to get around to surrounding areas.

Everything was nice with a really friendly environment. Lambug beach with an entrance fee is 10minutes away if you walk and it's really lowkey and not overcrowded. The pool area at SBG is awesome. I would definitely book again.

Location location location Very close to Lambug Beach but away from the main crowd. The rooms were spacious and the interior design was well thought of. The outdoor spaces were amazing as well. The pool was great. The staff were very accommodating. They gave us kitchen items that we needed to cook for our meals. They also adjusted the pool lights to accommodate my seizures.

They have a dog that is chained by the kitchen. I managed to give it food and was friendly to me by the time we left. I hope they provide shelter to the doggo ,especially when it rains, and enough food/water to sustain him.

Friendly hosts and clean areas

It is a clean and calm place to stay on Cebu island. We have stayed at different accommodations in Cebu and Samar in January and February 2024. In comparison to the other accommodations, SBG resort Lambug was the best one! It is clean, Ate Maloy and Fatima were always helpful, when we had special wishes. The resort has got water tanks and the water pressure of the hot and cold shower is good. In front of our room (room number 4) there is the terrace and after 2 meters the pool, which is about 10 x 5 meters. All 6 rooms are the same and have 2 beds, each bed for 2 persons. The air condition is inverter type, so it is not noisy. There is a water boiler in the room. 2 rooms share one WLAN. Breakfast is available for about 200 PHP. When you leave the resort to the left, you reach Lambug beach in 1 km - there is an environmental fee of 45 PHP per day. Motorcycles can be rent from the resort for 500 PHP per day. 1 night stay for 2 persons is about 2200 PHP. I booked that place 3 times - all together, for about 40 days. This is not a hospital - It is for holidays and pleasure.

Due to the somewhat exposed location of SBG resort: -) Smartphone has got no or weak signal only. You can not rely on it. -) There is not much around. Just Lambug beach (which is quite nice), LRR Resto Grill (which I can not recommend - better order food from Payag restaurant) Some suggestions for further improvements: -) Please offer more options for breakfast, for example vegetables, fruits and pancake. I would like to pay more for good coffee (instead of the instant 3 in 1 coffee) and real juice instead of sugar-water. -) TV: should be bigger and smart-TV for rainy days. -) In addition to the free instant coffee in the rooms, also offer free hot chocolate. -) Clothes drying rack on terrace should be replaced by more stable one.
