Hendrix’s cottage

Quiet location in secluded safe grounds.Ample parking and a wonderful warm welcome. We appreciated the attention to detail throughout from welcome treats ,a lovely warm house with comfortable seating and beds. I have already recommended Hendrix cottage and hope to return myself. We chose this property in preference to a hotel to afford my friend and I a relaxed cosy catch up and this cottage was perfect.

Space in property, bifold door access to decking with pond and water feature. Access to large front garden drive area, ideal for dog owners.

Close to a busy main road. Both bedroom windows are overlooked by main property / main property garden (however on both our visits we never felt the owner was ever watching us, in fact he was very discrete). Perhaps fitting blinds would be beneficial.

Very clean and well equipped. Excellent welcome basket.

The proximity to the road. Ventilation in the main bathroom could be improved.

Very clean & modern with a home from home feel, located in nice grounds. Loved the pond and sound of trickling water next to the outdoor seating area. Very comfortable beds. Excellent communication from owner throughout. Loved the welcome pack & art work on display. Very clean and comfortable inside. Modern, clean shower room. Would definately stop again - thank you!

My partner - nothing. She loved all of it. So did I. If I were to offer any postively intended critique, it would be to implement a little more privacy at the side of the outdoor seating area. Fencing/tall bushes etc, blinds in the bedrooms, the kettle needed de-scalling. A smart tv in the main room and possibily as second tv in the second bedroom. Of course these are my own thoughts, does not distract from how good everything else is, fair pricing and an enjoyable stay. Would go back if/when next in the area.

Neighbough setting off a few fireworks at 01:30 in the morning. Whats all that about! Of course nothing the vendor can do about this. Everything they could do something about was great.
