The apartment was ok; clean and comfortable. There are places in the street where you can park temporarily to unpack the car, appr. 50 m from the entrance. After that we parked in the Grieggarasjen (max height 2.05 m). The location is great, near a lot of tourist attractions. The key was delivered on arrival at the apartment.

The rest of the building, i.e. the stairs, looked worn out and was not clean. There was no elevator. Communication with the staff was not too friendly, but effective.

The owner changed the apartment at last moment without asking. The new apartment was not for 5. Was not what we payed for. Terrible attention. He threatened us, telling us if we complain he will kick us out.

All the time we tell the housekeeper our arrival time. The listing says that the checkin is at 23.30h. Even that, they made us wait and they were upset because we arrived at 22h (with previous advise) We had a terrible night because the owner, Rolf, over and over again repeat: go away.

Location, facilities, cleanliness

Spacious, clean, located close to restaurants and the Hurtigruten terminal.

Being on the 3rd floor and having to carry large suitcases up 6 flights of stairs. This was not mentioned at all on Booking.com.

Location was great. Instructions were good.

Didn’t know we had to climb three flights is stairs to get to our room. The mattress in the second bedroom was terrible.

The accommodation was advertised as having 2x double beds and 1 sofa bed. When we asked the host for information on how to set up the sofa bed, the reply was a short "sofa - bed has to be made", after a while we realised that what was meant was that you were in fact just meant to sleep on top of the sofa. It was advertised as having an ensuite bathroom, plus an additional bathroom - there was only one bathroom and a separate second toilet. The description of the property also stated that it had great views, these views were of the building across from us. The housekeeper who met us at the property was rude, didn't go through any of the facilities and seemed in a hurry to leave. Also, some information on where to dispose of rubbish would have been handy.
