"A lovely cosy pub"

Staff were lovely and went above and beyond. We had an evening meal which was delicious. And breakfast was also excellent with good choice and included in the price. Good location to explore Penrith and the rest of the lakes. Just 10 minutes off the M6

"Friendly, exceptional staff in a great location with fantastic food"

The staff are excellent - Jonny, Gary and Rob run the pub, restaurant and hotel on their own and we could not fault it. Gary is a MACHINE!!! Breakfast is fantastic and the food and service in the restaurant is incredible.

We thought there should be a dog/boot wash, but that is being very picky!
