Such a lovely place - huge rooms (which were very clean and comfortable) with a wonderful view. The breakfast was delicious and the amazing family who own it were so helpful and accommodating in every way

The value for money is excellent! The owner is very helpful and makes your stay feel like home. A huge plus is her help with booking tuk-tuks, as the house is a bit far from the center. The delicious breakfast with a view of the beautiful, green hills is unforgettable :)

Our stay at Ella Family House was an absolute delight. The views were truly spectacular, and the facilities were both comfortable and well maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. One of the highlights was the breakfast, both Sri Lankan and Western options were offered, and everything was delicious and generously served. It was a wonderful way to start each day. The host was incredibly responsive, and communication throughout our stay was seamless, which made everything smooth and stress free. While the location is slightly away from the main town, it’s only a short drive in. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Ella!

The only minor point for feedback would be that the shower pressure could have been a bit stronger, but this didn’t take away from an otherwise perfect stay.

Room was massive, perfect for a group. Shalika was so helpful for everything & breakfast was really good!
