The staff couldn’t do more for us, they were so appeasing - let us check in early, held breakfast open a little later for us etc as we were staying with them for a wedding.

No enough plugs In the rooms but the building is very old.

Nature, history, peaceful

The hotel and grounds were well looked after. The rooms were large and very comfortable. Staff were very polite and helpful. Value for money

The shower was not very powerful so took me a while to rinse conditioner out. Not a huge issue and the only negative

Loved all of it. Wonderful location. We were travelling to Bangor from the South of England this trip, and this was our stop off point. We had a relaxing drink on the terrace before enjoying a delicious dinner in the intimate dining room. Our room was spacious, well equipped, and with a very comfortable bed. The hotel itself is beautiful, set in glorious gardens. Thanks for a great stay. We will be back soon, hopefully.

Excellent location, fabulous breakfast though would have preferred proper granola, friendly welcome upon arrival, wonderful setting/rooms, grounds

Probably me but I couldn’t get comfy in bed and pillows weren’t that sumptios

Not very clean extremely hard bed lot of cobwebs and dust very poor water pressure in the shower

Very friendly staff. Room was very comfortable. Quiet at night. Would definitely go back.

It was very clean and a cool ambience. I booked a standard room but they surprised us with an upgrade to a superior room. It was spacious and comfortable. We really had a nice time.
