The Original Camp Agafay - Restaurant, Fire Show and Pool

It was an amazing experience. Everything was perfect, starting from transport from Marrakech, facilities, design of the whole camp, dinner with excellent food and artistic part.

Contact with drivers wasn’t very smooth

The staffs were all helpful and the tent are decent. Consider clean in the desert where dust/sand are everywhere. Overall, it's really an enjoyable trip with the itinerary well planned. Need not to think of what to do at all as it's all planned for you in The Original Camp. We had great time there!

Not much at all

DJ blared music until 1145pm when I went to them and told them to stop. I had anticipated this and asked for a location further from main area but the host Taufik told me that it would end by 1030. And still gave me rooms near the central area. Music blared until close to midnight, and the walls of our room were literally shaking. Kids couldn't sleep and were in tears. Next morning, I texted him and called him on multiple occasions but he didnt respond. [he doesnt stay at the resort overnight]. I've texted him on whatsapp and he has simply not replied. Very unprofessional and disappointing. dont go near this company! Shower pressure in one of our two rooms was meagre. trickle of water. my stay here was the only lowlight of an otherwise excellent morocco trip. i hardly write reviews but this one really sucked so bad that i am bothered to take time to write it up to warn others.

The we had none stop entertainment from the minute we arrived, we did the Buggy ride through the desert upon arrival at 5pm, then straight into dinner at 7pm after getting changed. We had live music, a traditional show, finished with a fire demonstration at 10:30pm. The set menu dinner was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The evening show was fantastic, entertainment, food for dinner and breakfast and service !

The water wasn’t too hot in the shower; was a bit chill with a light cover for the night. We should have asked for extra duvet

Except the manager, that has been very impolite and rude, the other people have been very nice

The camp is in a very bad situation. The swimming pool is under construction. The room was dirty. Food just average.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Original Camp. Taoufik helped us organise the transfer to the camp, which was included in the half-board package. Pick up and drop off were really smooth! The camp is in the middle of the Agafay desert, making it a unique experience. We did not do any activity, but simply enjoyed the tea and biscuits at check in, the stunning views from our tent, the small hike to see the sunset and later on the dinner and show. Really good entertainment with musicians and the fire artist.

Despite the pick-up transport being right on time, it took some time to check in the room. The facilities have known better days. It looks like not much maintenance was done over the past few years. It's a shame, as the camp has the potential to be absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't in use, despite being really hot during the day in February. Finally, there is a plan with specific timings, but these weren't always respected. Breakfast started quite late, for example, making it all a bit rushed. However, given the price compared to other camps, I guess overall, it's still good value for money!
