Leider weit ab vom Zentrum, ohne Roller nur schwer flexibel, Frühstück kam am letzten Tag zu spät, Zimmer schon sehr abgängig,

Nothing really. A bit far from the city center but I consider that a plus. Rent a scooter and the island will be yours

Sehr zuvorkommendes und sehr freundliches Personal. Schönes, großes und sauberes Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück.

Voyageur, solo, francophone, personnel, attentif et très arrangeant

Kleines, schmales Hotel, nur durch eine Straße von der Küste getrennt; vom Fenster aus konnte man das Meer sehen. Der Frühstücksraum befindet sich im letzten Stockwerk, von hier hat man eine gute Übersicht über den Ortsteil mit dem Hafen.

Chambre vue sur mer plus chère mais c'est sur la route et l'isolation est mauvaise donc vous dormez avec les voitures, les bus, les scooters. Matelas très inconfortable. Mauvaise odeur dans la salle de bain. Le prix n’est pas du tout conforme au marché de Cat Ba, deux fois plus cher qu'ailleurs pour une qualité très moyenne.

Dung lai is a very sweet little hotel, and a bit out of the main town, which was perfect because it was a lot quieter. It’s also very close to one of the docks, if you're interested in taking any of the tours. While it’s not a luxury option, it’s very nice, clean, and comfortable. The beds are a bit hard, but that’s typical for asia. The lighting could definitely use a change. It's either crazy bright or too dim to see anything. The pot lights are very intense. There’s a mini fridge and a smart TV, but no safe in the room. A/C worked well. The bathroom’s a bit small, but fine; the shower has good pressure and consistent temperature. As with every hotel bathroom, it could use more hooks! There was shampoo, conditioner, body wash, but no lotion (which is typical for asia). The breakfast was simple and good quality - everything you need: coffee or tea, juice, fruit, and then choice of eggs and toast, or pho. This hotel also has good views of the bay, and is within walking distance of some nice lookouts. We’d highly recommend the bioluminescent plankton tour run by blue swimmers just down the road from the hotel. It was absolutely amazing to see the blue lights in the water. You could see the schools of plankton swimming here and there. When you dipped your hand in the water, it looked like blue sparkles were all over it. Very cool experience.
