Eden Beach Resort - TIE

The hotel is listed as pay at the property but the property staff called us to make a pre payment to confirm the booking. Also to book they do not accept payments from cards instead they want you to pay to their QR Code that they would send over whatsapp. When we escalated the same to Booking.com we were assured that no payment has to be made and our room was confirmed. Even though we confirmed to them that we will be arriving and are on our way they messaged that the room was not available since we didn't pay. Later on we had to search for another property at such short notice.

None. The property is called Eden Beach Resort… it’s 10 minutes walk from beach. It’s just 5 rooms accommodation with no place to eat breakfast. They send breakfast to room. Though I had free cancellation facility, they called me asking for 50% advance to keep the room. Else not assured.

It’s a misnomer to call it as Resort. At best it’s a 2 star overnight staying facility. Room doesn’t have even a ward room. It’s a 10 feet by 8 feet room for a single occupancy.
