DEGreat location in the beautiful valley, great food, most peaceful and calm place I stayed at in Vietnam
I was there in December, which was very cold. Unfortunately the room wasn’t isolated and there was no heater, so the room was super cold. But the staff gave us extra blankets so the sleep was warm, just the room was super cold.
FRPhong Nam Station is a one of a kind place you won't find anywhere else in Cao Bang district. You feel inbetween as a customer and a part of the group. You can have your own privacy in the big rooms with the stunning view on the river and the mountain and fish, eat drink and have fun with the owner and his friends and family. AND the dogs ! animals here are free and happy. Dogs are so friendly and playful puppies. They bark at you and realize they actually want to be friend with you so they come to cuddle and play. You also can rent a motorbike to visit the amazing peaceful surroundings, waterfalls everywhere, people living a simple life, children chearing you with big smiles and screaming "HELLOOO" when you pass by. At night when came back to Phong Nam station and had dinner with everybody and had a very fun night, trying vietnamese food, eat the fish caught from the river. Would definitely recommend staying here
Maybe adding some furniture in the rooms to put bags and clothes. The shared bathrooms have some webs around. Even though spider are very very invasive it could be nice to clear up the webs a bit more often but otherwise the bathroom is spotless clean.
USThe place is rustic, but that was completely expected. Everything was as advertised. The food was great and we had a great night stay for a "steal" of a price.

DEBeautiful location- the nature surrounding the place is breathtaking! The owner is super friendly, they even made us a vegetarian dinner with loads of delicious plates of food. Also very cute puppies that love to cuddle! Had a great time, thank you so much!
They had a cute small bird, but it was in a tiny cage- maybe the could find a bigger cage for it to stay in (or set it free if I is a local species).
FRThe spot and the houses are really beautiful, simple but beautiful ! The owner is really nice ! There is some nice dogs (puppies) also in the place !
VNEverything. I've always loved Phong Nam valley since I first visited the place back in 2020-2021. Being able to sleep right there, at Phong Nam Station is just incredible. The owner, Dung, is an incredibly nice person. His place is beautiful and comfy, with an unbeatable view. Driving around the area is the best, above all if you are into photography. There are rice fields everywhere and, if you visit in September, you'll be able to see people harvesting these fields. Locals are super friendly. Definitely a place I'll stay at again next year. Highly recommended!
