Villa Dua Bintang

Me impresionaron las vistas a la naturaleza tanto desde la habitación como desde la piscina. Extremadamente serviciales, recomendaría sin duda.

Love the natural outlook over the valley from the room/balcony and listening to all the sounds emanating from the surroundings (roosters, cicadas, people chopping, people singing etc). The climate is mild/cool in Munduk which is why aircon in rooms isn't necessary. Loved the outdoor bathroom and having a hot shower whilst the rain bucketed down. Room and bathroom very clean. Staff are awesome, very friendly and helpful. Menu is decent and food is delicious!

Bed was a bit firm and would benefit from a mattress topper. There wasn't a phone in the room to contact reception (there was on our previous stay). When staying here we like to eat room-service on our balcony so we can soak up the views. We had to walk down to organise this but got around it by pre-organising it when we returned from our day-tripping. There isn't any TV in the room which doesn't bother us but might bother some people.

There is a car/motorbikes noise even in night, but I think it is the same everywhere in Munduk 🥲

Good location, great staff, the meals were lovely and the pool was perfect!

It is in the mountains so it can be very damp and wet.

From the moment we arrived at Villa Dua Bintang we were treated like royalty. Every one of the staff was friendly and kind. They were very knowledgeable about places to visit in the area. We were able to walk to 3 waterfalls. A free scooter ride into and back from central Munduk was offered and we accepted - it was great! There is a restaurant on the property and we ate there everyday. Nice and delicious options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Balinese treats of Pisang goreng (fried banana) and Pisang coklat (banana, chocolate, sugar wrapped in pancake and fried) were amazing! Our room was very clean and refreshed everyday. And then there is the view into the canyon, just so beautiful.

Beautiful rooms, friendly helpful staff

Great place to relax and enjoy Munduk and surroundings. Good and delicious breakfast. Spacious and clean room and bathroom. Very friendly staff.

Wifi is a bit slow in the rooms, quite ok in the pool/restaurant area. Since it’s an open bathroom, when it rains you get wet when using the wc and shower.

The staff were lovely and the scenery all around was gorgeous. The smell of cloves in the air as you walked around was intoxicating.

Unfortunately I was sick while I was in Munduk so I couldn’t eat and didn’t have much energy.
