Amazing friendly staff. The environment is very beautiful, the food was very good. Staff gives good advice on what to see and how to get there.

The curtains were a little bit see through, if they were a little bit darker it would give more sense of privacy.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable with great views. The staff really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant each day and the food was great. The location is excellent for local walks to see the waterfalls, rice fields and the town. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

Great room, nice views and good food (if you choose indonesian food). Staff was amazing, very helpful with planning our activities and very kind.

Would be great if all rooms had mosquito nets and a good airconditioning . Property could also use a bit of maintenance, especially at the entrance.

The location : very far away from everything, impossible to do anything by foot. They offer to drive you to the village with scooters, but without helmets… there are no taxis in this area, only private drivers who cost a lot and that you have to book a day in advance... we would not recommend staying in Munduk in general, even though the nature is beautiful The isolation of the room : everything is open, so it’s a bit humid (it rained a lot), it’s quite noisy all night and very bright in the room. The room (triple room) was quite dark and not very welcoming.

The peace and traditional style of the room was wonderful. Best though were the staff. We are in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner each night and the staff were engaging, friendly and very willing to swap stories and histories. We did a cooking class with Weda the chef and learned much about Balinese culture along with the cooking experience. It was like living in a community rather than a hotel which we greatly enjoyed. Delli, Eddie, Weda and all of the other staff I can’t name were just wonderful to be with. Munduk is a beautiful mountain region of small villages rather than big towns. Within walking distance to waterfalls and rice terraces and outstanding views from many places. In a short drive you can reach the twin lakes, temples and coffee plantations.

Perhaps a fan could be put in the room, but it was cooler weather so it wasn’t needed all the time.
