Villa Dua Bintang

Breakfast was fabulous. Staff was exceptional. They even plucked some mangosteen from their tree for my dessert/breakfast when they learned I loved the fruit. I did two tours with Eddy who is also staff. We did the 3 waterfalls hike one day and the next day he took me by scooter to do the jungle hike and canoe trip across the lake, where he picked me up to return to the Villa. Eddy’s English is excellent so all my questions were answered. A charming, sincere young man. All staff is professional and do their best to provide a fabulous experience for guests.

The place is beautiful. The staff were exceptional, all very helpful, nice and friendly. Many thanks to Adi, Gus. Edi, Komang, Handra. The Mangosteen tree on the property had a lot of fruits and we had our fill of the best, freshest Mangosteen.

The best and kindest staff ever. Really. So much humour and they were helpful with all our requests. Even driving us to Munduk Village on their motorbikes. Villa is beautifully located in Munduk in close proximity to the three waterfalls. Highly recommended.

The staff was awesome and super helpful whenever needed. Their offer for activities and services is also very broad.

Everything was great.

The staff was really friendly, it was a small team/family, and it all felt very personal. They easily changed some food into vegan meals, and the food was really good. We also noticed that in previous reviews people were complaining about noise and insects. We immediately noticed that there was a new set of earplugs in the room, which we thought was very thoughtful. In the room were no insects at all, but in a different season it would have been good to have a mosquito net, as there was none. We really liked our room, it has a nice view over the valley and pool! The bathroom was nice, the shower was pleasant, and we enjoyed the experience of an outdoor shower! We were also grateful that they gave us some umbrellas to use, as during the rainy season the weather was sometimes a but unpredictable!

The first night we found a few hairs in the bed, that were clearly not ours. The linnen was clean, but probably some hair survived the laundry machine. They cleaned the room every day, and the rest of our stay it was all properly clean! It was also sometimes a bit noisy in the morning, however, it wasn’t bothering us much + there were earplugs we could use if it would have been bothering too much.
