The Condesa House

I really appreciated that the host sent detailed information ahead of time about accessing the property, room, and internet (this is super important, especially when there’s no one available at check-in). After contacting the host via Booking texting, my early check-in was kindly granted, which made things easier since I arrived ahead of time. The room had all the basic necessities, including coffee and tea to enjoy at any time. Additional filtered water was also available on demand in the communal kitchen. The shared areas were clean, organized, and uncluttered, which made the stay even more comfortable.

My room was comfortable, but since it was right next to the main door and faced the street, I could hear people passing by and their conversations quite clearly. I was a bit worried about noise during sleep hours but fortunately, it’s a quiet street, so traffic and party noise weren’t an issue at all :)

The location is excellent.

We have an issue with the bathroom. The sink developed a leak from one of the water valves. We notified the owner’s representative, who informed us via email that he would check the problem. We noticed that the representative visited the room while we were out of the building, but no action was taken to stop the water leak. To prevent flooding, we had to place towels on the floor, and every time we returned to the room, we had to dry the wet towels and clean up the water manually. This situation is very inconvenient. We were supposed to use the facilities, not clean up or prevent damage to the wood cabinets, which puts us at risk of walking into a wet room.

Great location and the price was decent. We appreciated the ability to use the common area in the early morning after a night bus

Our room was next to the street so it was fairly noisy at night but ear plugs helped.
