Hisar Guest House

Everything ! The room was just perfect ! Big bed comfortable, bathroom with hot water ! It was peaceful at night, first time since i arrived in Sumatra that I could sleep without earplugs. So appreciated ! On the terrace of my room I could see the lake in front of me, and the sunrise were just amazing to see. The breakfast was really big and good (only tried the banana pancakes). The owner and his staff were really lovely, and always here to give you an hand with anything. They provide laundry, scooter. Wifi worked really well all around the property. Hisar, the owner was waiting for me in front of the property when the boat came in, and he called them up when it was time for me to leave as well. Always happy to chat with you and tell you about the things there is to see and do in the island. If I come back I will definitely stay here again with my partner.

Nous n’avons passé que deux jours sur l’île, malheureusement sous un temps maussade. Malgré cela, le logement était propre avec la présence d’un ventilateur, disposait d’eau chaude et offrait une vue magnifique. Les propriétaires, très gentils et serviables, nous ont beaucoup aidés. Le restaurant sur place est bon. Le propriétaire nous a également loué un scooter pour visiter quelques sites. Il a pris le temps de nous montrer, sur une carte, les différents endroits à découvrir. Le scooter était en parfait état, livré avec le plein d’essence, et les casques avaient même été soigneusement nettoyés. Une belle expérience dans l’ensemble !

La présence de travaux

Hisar a été bien plus qu’un hôte : il m’a servi de guide et m’a fait découvrir l’île de Samosir. Il a été très chaleureux et attentionné, et le dernier soir il m’a même fait goûter au vin de palme local ! C’était une très belle rencontre qui a rendu mon séjour encore plus spécial.

De eigenaren van het guesthouse zijn lief en denken met je mee. Mooi uitzicht over het meer. Locatie is goed.

WiFi werkte niet heel goed in de kamer.

De locatie ligt direct aan het meer en de hoofdstraat. Mamma Eppie en Marco helpen je graag met alles. Je verblijft volgens Indonesische standaard met een westerse twist. Er is warm water wat heerlijk is. Scooters kunnen geregeld worden en de boot ze je voor de deur af en haalt je ook weer op.

Niets specifiek. De handdoeken zouden wellicht verschoond kunnen worden, maar heb ik ook niet ongevraagd.

Guest house was clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful, they booked a ferry and a taxi ride for us. This guest house has a restaurant on the territory, food is good and very tasty!
