"An oasis in the city, filled with charm and great hospitality."

Quirky, comfortable and stylish. This really appeals to us. Roland is an attentive and engaging host who really gets hospitality.

Nothing really. Possibly too much chlorine in the plunge pool, but that’s splitting hairs!

"A guesthouse definitely worth staying"

The host Roland is extremely friendly and helpful also provided a lot of insights and tips for visiting Cape Town. The location of guesthouse is very good -- Safe and easy to access to major spots. Strongly recommend this guesthouse for people who want to discover beautiful Cape Town.

It would have been perfect if the shutter of window can be managed easily - though it did not affect anything during our stay.

"Ideally located clean and comfortable with delicious breakfast"

A wonderful and really clean estate ideally located close to Kloof Street with good restaurants and bars between city center and table mountain. The supernice hosts Roland and Alex support with good advice. The breakfast of your choice is freshly prepared and really delicious. Don‘t mind of your car- it can be parked in front of the house and a night guard keeps an eye on it. The rooms are clean and some of them very spacious. Staff is really kind as well. We spent great 6 days and if it was not that we had to leave at the end of our holidays we would have spent more days.

"Perfect place to get back at during your Cape Town discovery! We stayed for 5 nights"

We stayed at Roland & Alexandra’s place for 5 nights exploring Cape Town and it was absolutely perfect! Ronald is very helpful during your breakfast sessions (which are also very nice) for all kind of tips (surrounding, food, activities and safety) :) Our room was very romantic with the bathtub in an open space in a real African vibe! An absolutely perfect start (for us), or end time of your trip :) Thank you so much!

"Great host, near restaurants, nice decor and breakfast!"

Good Breakfast , great host and staff, decor is excellent. A few blocks from a few nice restaurants. Host recommended a lot of excellent things to do!

Rooms and bathrooms small, recommend to eliminate bulky wardrobe, and add non-slip fabric under rugs.

We had a lovely time here and it was very convienently located within Cape Town. The host was very friendly and flexible, he gave us good tips for our South Africa trip and helped us a lot to change our booking when our flight was cancelled. The house is beautiful and the breakfast was superb.
