Charming building, locally owned (not a chain). Good breakfast, a significant step up from the usual continental breakfast offerings at other hotels.

Low quality mattress. I could feel the metal springs. Window blind and windows were dirty, curtain rod rusted. Overall, the room needed a refresh.

Breakfast was great...they also do chocolate chip cookies and a complimentary glass of wine or beer . The location was great staff friendly...my only sadness was we stayed in the building with the restraunt which wasn't as cool looking or Victorian as the one in the picture. The room was clean but nothing special about decor and the bed was uncomfortable.
