The place clean and tidy and the host was really nice

The property spacious and the little extras (sweets, tea and coffee) was very appreciated. It bedrooms are decorated beautifully and the beds are very comfortable.

The property was about 35 minutes (walking) from the centre of Verona. This was slightly disappointing as I had thought it was more central. Also, on check out, when we went to take the sheets off the bed in the double room there was a big brown stain on the mattress protector.

Great location in a quiet, residential area with a short walk to the city centre (approx 15 mins) or an even shorter walk to Porto Vescovo where you can take the train or bus into town. Local shops (baker, greengrocer and supermarket) and bars around the corner - and note that the prices are about 1/2 of what you pay in city centre: glass of procecco 3 Euros as opposed to 6 in centre. Loved that we could sit out in the courtyard in the evening for a chat with some drinks and snacks. The apartment was spacious and well-appointed.

Although there was a Nespresso coffeemachine and we did manage to get some coffee out of it, it definitely needs a tune-up, or possible just a descaling, as getting an espresso cup full took about 3 goes due to the rather pathetic water flow. And we could possibly have done with a few more pods, but if we were staying longer we would probably have bought some.
