1. Bad kitchen utilities, spoon etc 2. All Airconditioning not cold at all, sweating and not able to sleep 3. Should limit to only 6pax. Nothing extra. More than 6pax not recommended, unless u brong your own matress, blanket, pillow etc. 4. Too basic. One of the worst homestay i've been too.

Cleanliness throughout the property- which is expected with the rate I paid.

It was not a good a start to begin with. I have a lot to say but keep it simple by point-forms as follows: 1) unaccommodating host - I requested for 2 more towels, she said only 4 towels were provided & they only provided towels since early this year when I argued that I stayed at the property in 2019 & it was a pleasant stay (I guess I dealt with the owner, not a manager). I had to call my cousin at the other side of town to send me 2 clean towels for my children! 2) Ceiling fans were dismantled in all 3 bedrooms & kitchen. Just because they installed air-conditioning in the bedrooms. What is the rationale? It's frigging hot weather & no fans for air ventilation! Don't blame guests to keep the a/c turned on... 3) With the rate of almost RM450 I paid, why is the host not providing the followings? a) waste bins & slippers, toilet papers - in all bathrooms b)hand soap, dishwashing liquid, washing detergent (they provide washing machine but guests to wash with what?) c) tissue boxes in all bedrooms, living room & dining table d) a coffee table in the living room e) a standing fan in all 3 bedrooms if installing a ceiling fan will cost too much (the fans cost the most RM150 each) * items a, b, c -the host can buy those at dirt-cheap prices at the RM3 (USD 60 cents) shop at that small town of Chukai Perhaps, just because the property now has a swimming pool, they disregard the small things which guests will appreciate more. Small gestures do mean a lot! The house is located at a corner lot that receives hot sun throughout the day, the house feels like sauna - hence the pool water is very warm & we only took a dip at night time after 8pm! If anyone think that I'm such a fussy & demanding demanding guest, think again! I feel so short-changed for the price I paid (about RM450 per night x 2 nite) for a sub-standard service quality! Fyi.
