Location is amazing

The exit sign above the stairs in the studio bedroom is very bright

Close to everything we needed, clean, tidy, spacious and great facilities.

Not quite how I interpreted the listing as it said 2 bedrooms, but is a studio with 2 beds.

Central , comfy, lovely spot on riverside, Sit there and watch the boats glide by ,

No dislikes.

Everything was perfect such a central location and beautifully furnished apartment, super clean. Shower was lovely, bed super comfortable, tv had Chanels so was nice to chill out.

The exit light is in the bedroom and stays on during the night making it hard to fall asleep as it’s quite bright. It could do with being moved to the hall. But other then that it was amazing

So central and excellent location.

Nothing it was all so lovely.

We didn’t meet our host but accessed the property opposite the castle as arranged, climbing the winding stair to emerge into a light filled charming tower chamber over looking river and castle. The view was fantastic and everything was there that we might need including fresh milk in the fridge. Bed comfortable, bathroom great with automatic light after dark. There was a safety gate to prevent tumbles down the stairs especially from the single bed a step up from the main floor. Decent cooking facilities, iron, board and hair dryer. You could see the river from bedside window. Wi-Fi was good though we oldie’s struggled with the TV. Lot of automation so not clear how the heating worked but small heatwave so no problem. Disabled parking outside

Parking could be a challenge as this is free after six and bang in the middle of town. Climbing over my husband’s feet to get out of bed. Would have liked a bathmat. The emergency exit light at the top of the stairs was very bright all night.

Excellent location. Extremely helpful and generous hosts - John and Helen couldn’t have been more helpful.

The property is described as a two bedroomed apartment. It is a studio apartment - perfect for me or a family (couple and child) It has an excellent well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely bed linen and towels and generous space. Entry is via a stairs with a stair gate. Overlooking the Shannon, beside Athlone Castle, a stone’s throw from the Luan Gallery and close to numerous restaurants.

This was far more the best place we've found in Ireland. Awesome place, great view, extremely clean and comfortable. I would have liked to stay a night more. Really thanks to the host.

This property was perfect for us! Perfect location!! Beside all the fabulous bars and restaurants!! Pavarotti's Pizza and Seerys Pub is a must!! So if you are looking for a quiet early night in, maybe not the best location for you! But I'm sure during the week night it would be quiter. The apartment was spotless and bright, new looking and nicely decorated. Had a very comfortable double and single bed. Lovely bathroom, kitchen area with big wondow overlooking the river!! Welcome basket was really appreciated after travelling. And a large TV!! Johnny the owner was lovely to deal with and we will definitely book again!!
