Bracken's Retreat

The location was perfect and we loved the neighbourhood very quiet. Kitchen and bedroom is what I expected. It was a raining day and as soon as we got there, the host was very friendly and helpful she made us feel welcome. I 100% recommend.

We had a brilliant time ,the accomodation was love, clean and friendly hosts and 2 cute little dogs we had the pleasure of meeting everything you need and a few extra in the room. The weather wasn't the best but it hasn't put us off visiting again and if we don't bring the kids this will be the place we stay again.

Yeah only probelm was parking and that was because it was carnival week and roads were busy but normally there is a community carpark so I'm sure it wouldn't be a probelm at other times

Excellent all round experience, except for poor accessibility for people with limited mobility etc., and a water heater was not working in bathroom but the mains water in the kitchen was OK so got round that problem.

The property is a self contained little flat in the garden of the main property which has its own entrance and is very quiet. Annalie was really helpful and flexible, even proactively offering a later checkout. The place is small but has everything you need. While there isn't a dedicated parking space, there was plenty of on road parking nearby so isn't an issue. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Delightful set-up with everything you could possibly need. We are still talking about how comfortable the bed was and how well we slept! Everything was just lovely, as were the hosts. Excellent check-in instructions made access really easy and they gave us some great travel advice for some sightseeing we wanted to do in the area. Also - great location if you're going to Eden Project!

Great to do day trips to explore Cornwall. Welcoming hosts who were helpful but also respected privacy. Fully self-contained. Short walk to pubs for dinner. 😊

Nothing really. You need to park up the hill a little but that is 2-3 minute walk from accommodation.

Everything about it, there is nothing not to like and how the place is.

1st class accommodation, clean, well equipped and nice and peaceful. Ideal location to stay for days out with lots of places to visit. We will definitely be back.
