The Blue Raven Resort is a wonderful gated exclusive experience. The small privately owned, well-cared-for resort is delightful for the weary traveler. Patterned after the native cultures, with a touch of modern conveniences you certainly don’t want to miss this place. Access to the ocean is just a few steps beyond the small guest-only cafe, and the water is clear and beautiful. Our last thoughts about the Blue Ravin Resort, book your stay early so you will have a chance to enjoy this unique experience.

Sometimes it’s booked up and you will miss a wonderful experience.

Jan! She is one of three managers and was top notch professional. One of our tires went flat in the market but she sent a local team to change them within an hour! Ann! She cleaned our house everyday and helped us with every little detail. Lyhn and Iza, the two other managers were also super kind and friendly. Thank you ladies, you made our stay, well, very much bearable!

There is an unequivocal rot in the whole house. The roof actually leaked, termite mounds would form each morning, wash basin and water heating broken, air conditioners rumble like tractors. The attentive staff fixed the basin and the heater but what could they do about the roof and termites? Management lacked detail. We had to ask for mosquito coils, in-house flip flops, foot mats, extra toilet paper, and key to the room. We had to ask for them. We had to ask to have the basin and heater fixed. No! They should’ve been provided without our asking!

Good customer service and very accommodating staff. Remote place.

It is remote hence it is far from shops or restaurants although there are two convenience stores within walking distance. To get a ride to the town center, you have to walk far which is not easy under the scorching sun. There is no beach below the hotel but a rocky passage to a nearby beach. There is a Karaoke bar in one of the convenience stores and you can hear hard singing until 10 pm. There was a festival in a neighbouring area and you can hear hard music late at night.

Excellent customer service and very accommodating staff. The rooms are clean and spacious. Nice beach front location.

The food menu at the restaurant are limited.
