Anchor Hotel and Seabed Restaurant

Great location and the evening meal was delicious seafood.

Our room was up several flights of stairs which could be problematic for some. Breakfast was good

Easy check in. Lovely meal in restaurant. Central location

Great location on the harbour, good room and fab restaurant, we enjoyed our meal and drinks. Staff helpful and friendly.

Bathroom a little tired and in need of some TLC - wall and shower seal.

In a pretty harbour with some friendly staff. The bed was comfortable and clean Very close for catching ferry to Islay. Lots of free parking right opposite the hotel.

The hotel is in pretty harbour but the hotel and the village it is all very rundown. Top floor room with not much view. Bathroom had mould across the whole ceiling. Room was quite tired. We had two tiny bottles of shampoo and shower gel for 3 adults and also a packet of only 2 biscuits for the 3 of us. Staff were very friendly but trying to find anyone to check in and out was a problem. Breakfast was quite mediocre. We were told we couldn’t have a drink in the bar as the tables were all booked for food despite only one having guests at the time.Told we could go to the pub next door but this didn’t look particularly inviting.
