Great location, close to the ferry to Islay. Access point and right on the harbour.

Totally mispriced for the quality of hotel. Linens and towels old, room extremely tired and hallway ceiling damaged from prior leaks or something. Aesthetically unpleasant, given I paid £155. 1 night

"Nice little hotel"

The room was very nice (Room 4 if my memory serves me right) with nice bed and shower etc. The hotel overall was very good with a lovely breakfast. Bicycles were safely stored at the back of the hotel with access via the fire escape rear door. Carrying the panniers upstairs was no problem. Carpet on the stairs was dirty but this we were told was due to a town festival . staff all very nice, friendly and efficient. The town is very nice with plenty of cafes and restaurants. A nearby general store (COOP ?) and post office. Ferry was not too far away.

Dirty stair carpet but this will be cleaned (said the staff member).
