"Room needs some love"

Staff are lovely the food dinner and breakfast is lovely. Room very quiet.

Room itself needs a bit of love. Bathroom tiny towel rail rusty and not working. Only free standing heater in bedroom so quite cold. Disappointing.

"Was clean and tidy and in a good location to stay. Pity about the breakfast though."

The full scottish breakfast was OK but the eggs benedict was poor. The eggs were hard and it was not that hot. Not the best taste either.

Breakfast could be better. Coffee not that hot out of the pot.

"Went for music festival and had a fantastic weekend. Hotel mainly great but needs a little upgrade in a few areas ."

Dinner was the outstanding feature of this hotel. It was outstanding in quality and we would hugely recommend. The young staff were impressive and took the initiative to offer us a better and more convenient room without fuss.

The hotel doesn’t quite live up to the restaurant but was fine for an overnight stay. Unfortunately we were initially given the key to an already occupied room which caused some embarrassment.
