Casa do Atlântico

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Lage war auch gut :) Es ist ein typisches Haus wie man sich es in der Region vorstellt.

Hinter der Küchezeile ist die ganze Wand voll mit schwarzem Schimmel. Ich denke das ist auch dem feuchten Klima der Insel geschuldet und der Bauweise.

Het is erg vochtig in huis, gelukkig is er wel een vochtfilter aanwezig wat erg helpt.

Simpatia, e boa vontade do Pedro em ajudar. O alojamento relativamente perto do Funchal, é agradável, bem conservado, e com muito boa limpeza.

O menos agradável, são os mosquitos que não nos deixaram usufruir do espaço exterior, principalmente à noite, assim como a falta de estacionamento na proximidade.

I liked the amazing ocean view, the cleanliness of the apartment, the comfortable facilities and the warm hospitality of the hosts.

Honestly, there was nothing significant that I didn’t like, everything exceeded my expectations

The apartment was very clean and well laid out , plenty of room . Everything was provided and if we needed anything , Pedro would get it for us . Overall a nice apartment to stay in. The hill up to the apartment is steep but it's a nice way to burn off those extra calories.

Some construction work next door , but it didn't bother us too much as we left the property early each day .

Ett mycket charmigt boende som är finare och större än vad som syns på bilderna med en fantastisk utsikt mot havet och bergen från den lilla fristående balkongen. Det var rent, snyggt, fräscht och ombonat. Stort sovrum med skön dubbelsäng. Bäddsoffan fungerar och är skön för en person även om den är dubbel så är ena sidan väldigt hård. I början av augusti var det ca 27 grader i Funchal och hög fuktighet. Utan AC blir det varmt och man behöver öppna fönstren. Man behöver tillägga att boendet ligger brant och högt upp från centrum och att gå upp är en utmaning minst sagt:). Funchal är en supermysig stad att bo i. Ana och Pedro är supergulliga, Tack!

Lovely, clean, modern apartment. Well equipped in a quiet location. Apartment was very comfortable. Local bus to and from Funchal or walk. The walk is steep and reviews do point that out but we were fine. Pedro and Ana are wonderful hosts and extremely helpful making you feel more like a friend. Ana was there to greet us and was warm, friendly and welcoming. Any information we needed during our stay was provided promptly, nothing was too much trouble. We are 2 sisters travelling and felt very safe and relaxed at the property. Muito obrigada Ana e Pedro.

The host was very kind and helpful, he came to pick us up from the bus station and gave us a little tour through the city. Furthermore, he gave us some recommendations for places to go to and was easy to contact when we had some questions. The apartment is located in a proper neighbourhood and within walking distance to the city centre and other facilities
