Gaia House Hostel

What a lovely comfortable place to stay. The owners were so helpful, friendly and interesting to talk to. The helped us book tours, taxis and gave us local knowledge and spoke excellent English (despite our lack of spanish). The room was great as we had a bedroom and a quaint sitting room with was brilliant to be able to spread out. It was located only a few blocks back off Plaza de Alma's and was a nice cobble lined street. I really hope tourism picks up for this beautiful town as there are amazing places to visit. I'd come back and stay with these guys again. It was very peaceful. Great value for money and very accommodating.

The rooms were very spacious and had everything and more for a hostel. Additionally the staff were very kind and accommodating. The location is great just minutes to Plaza de Armas with many great resteraunts and grocery shopping around. Also, free breakfast!

Our room was very close to the main entrance so it was a little loud during the night when people came back.

The hostel is located in the quiet, beautiful neighborhood of San Blas. The hostel is very small, very quiet and exceptionally clean. There's only walking access via stairs. It has a kitchen and cozy common area. I absolutely loved the dorm beds which were basically little bedrooms. I really enjoyed my stay!

The only downside to this small, quiet and private hostel was that it was difficult to socialize and meet other travelers.

Dorm room had big comfortable beds with a curtain for privacy. The bathrooms were very clean with hot showers and good water pressure. Staff were welcoming and friendly. This hostel has a calm atmosphere and is a great place to stay if you want a good night’s sleep and some peace and quiet!
