The area around the caravan was nice.

The caravan smelt strongly that something had burnt. When I contacted the owner she decided to come and check this out the following day after we left!

Good communication. Ideal location as a last minute booking as family staying nearby.

The double mattress needs replacing as springs were very uncomfortable. We tried using the sofa bed, but it was broken. Oven not working properly - this admittedly for most won't be used, but for a family member with allergies, we needed it to heat to temperature. We could ignite it ok but it never reached any temperature for cooking. Bits under twin beds found when looking for sockets :( The heater in the twin bedroom doesn't work. The shower worked lovely on the first morning for 1 of us, but the next morning, 2 showers and 1 washing up bowl of hot water and then no more water for another shower.

This is the second time staying in this caravan. The first time was back in May. Unfortunately, this time around, our stay was not as comfortable, booked for two nights, but only stayed the one night this time around. Unfortunately, the electric heaters in this caravan are nowhere near adequate to keeping this caravan warm at night time, woke up absolutely freezing, and had condensation on the mirrors in the bedrooms, there was mould on the net curtains and some where ripped. Unfortunately, due to my partners health conditions, we we're unable to stay any longer.

good location, nice place to stay. Everything is within walking distance.

the floor as you step into the caravan is a little sketchy and needs some attention.

Ideal stay for early morning ferry to France

2 miles from ferry . Thankfully only one night. It was a stop over for our ferry next day we managed to get the gas going so we're able to cook our dinner. Heating was electric so slightly warmed caravan .

We arrived at 6pm to find the caravan had no gas or hot water We contacted the owner .... Owner phones Haven and if its after 6pm there's nothing she can do. We found it noisy and the beds uncomfortable . And it was cold at night .

It was a lovely home from home and the you could tell that the owner had put there heart and soul into making it there own.
