Casa Puerto Viejo

The location was in between the places we wanted to go and close to nice beaches. The room was big and plenty of storage space. The pool was nice, but in very shaded part of garden so always looked a bit cold to sit out. There is a nice outside dining area and kitchen, but it felt like you were intruding on the family space. Although there was a language barrier all the staff were lovely and helpful and organised a taxi for us. The rooms by the pool looked a bit nicer.

The bed had a really old fleecy brown blanket that was uncomfortable and looked dirty. There were water stains all up the wall that wasnt very nice. There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee or filters.

Clean and very close to the airport. Also very close to so many shops and beaches. The pool was great to cool off and the hosts were beyond accommodating and kind. I would not hesitate to book here again. The hotel had fruit trees and beautiful landscaping.

Great location with nice grounds and a beautiful pool , The casa felt very safe and secure. The common kitchen was a nice feature.

We had read about what a woinderful host Marta is. Unfortunately, she was off for a month, and the staff was totally uncommunicative.. Granted, they only spoke Spanish, but they didn't even acknowledge us with a hello or smile when we saw them. I speak moderate Spanish but couldn't engage them. They advertised an excellent breakfast, yet none was available. For the price, the room and bathroom were just ok. The room was dark and dated and had stains in the wall.

I loved my stay here! The place is beautiful - my room and bathroom were nice and spacious and the pool is beautiful. It’s a great location right by the nicest beaches and the staff were lovely and so helpful.

Secluded gated property , we had a patio room near the pool. The kitchen was shared and the other hall rooms seemed a lot less desirable. Staff was helpful and nice but no English was spoken ,for us was ok but not ideal.

Location was good. Lovely small garden and pool. The ground manager was friendly.

However, the service was non existent. Really bad. We booked a room with private terrace, the room had no terrace and only one window towards common areas and staff. You had to ask for towels, top sheet, garbage bags, toilet paper. No cleaning in 5 days. The cleaning lady was very rude all the time.

We arrived to a beautifully decorated room to celebrate our honeymoon. The staff were so friendly and lovely to deal with and the pool area was a great place to relax after a busy day out.

Cozy house with common areas (kitchen, dining, space, swimming pool). Clean room and very relaxing atmosphere. Restaurants and shops nearby. Beaches within walking distance.
