Casa Puerto Viejo

Super clean, wonderful swimming pool, and Jose the grounds manager was very kind & made us feel very safe & welcome.

Only thing was they didn’t give face cloths. But they probably would have provided if I’d asked (management & Jose were super accommodating).

Enjoyed the pool . Well kept grounds.

Could have provided us with fresh towels. Only one cleaning of the room in 5 day stay.

The location and the house were great

I wish I could have spent more time with the daughter of the family.

Beautiful property and gardens in a good location, walkable to the beach and restaurants. Well designed, nicely furnished, big comfortable bed. Swimming pool was clean and great for a dip.

You specifically had to ask for cleaning, bin emptying etc. The cleaning lady was not very friendly. The room’s window looked out onto the outdoor dining area which could be noisy at breakfast time. There were no sheer curtains so we had to keep the heavy curtains closed most of the time making the room dark.

If you are looking my for a relaxing stay look no further. Casa Puerto Viejo is a gem. Great location in the city centre, walking distance to playa Carazalillo and Maranzanillo, also, if you are travelling by bus is an excellent location close to the bus terminal. Despite being so central the property is very quiet and you can only hear cicadas at night, a true paradise. The pool was a fantastic addition and the staff were super nice, Marta and Jose are great and very helpful.
