Everything was perfect. The owner was very kind, friendly and helpful. We are satisfied about our accomodation and hospitality of the owner :) Highly recommend this place

The apartment is extremely cozy. From the lovely scent of warm vanilla when you first walk in, to aesthetically appealing wallpaper and furniture all throughout the unit. The common kitchenette bar was well stocked with cookies, muffins, espresso, water and fruit juice. Very nice touch! The Airbnb is setup with the common area with the kitchenette, a dining table, balcony, and sofas. Adjacent to the communal area down a hall are four rooms. Close quarters, but I did not hear a peep from any of the other guests. I stayed in the “Orlando” room and it was absolutely gorgeous. Spacious with a large bathroom, and a private balcony. The building is secured behind a locked front gate from the street, and the lobby door only accessible by key. The door to the apartment is more than triple bolted. Please be sure to have the host show you how to unlock the keypad when you arrive, so you don’t end up locked out. It is a bit tricky until you see how easy it is to access. Location was impeccable. Within walking distance to local transit system, the central railway station, multiple restaurant/bars/clubs, and shopping. The apartment itself is very tranquil, but the noise levels outside are always active. Which did not bother me. If you want quiet, stay at an Agritourismo, not in the center of Catania!!!! The host (I forget his name) was extremely sweet, and accommodating. I would absolutely stay again, if the host was willing to negotiate rate.

Very little to complain about. The only minuses were the shower is too small and the bedding is less than appealing. Mattress and pillows are too hard. Sheets and blanket are also too hard. If these are corrected, this place would be absolutely perfect. Also, the hallway and lobby don’t have lights. Very creepy at night, so be sure to use your phone flashlight.

Easy to drive to /and leave with car. And easy parking in a outside public parking space for a smaal amount, close to the apartment..

Host was very helpful and welcoming and very responsive in communicating. He helped me get parked, oriented me to the city, and bailed me out when I accidentally left something in the room after my departure. There's a parking lot close by that is 6 euro/day or you can pay to park on the street for 1 euro/hr. The apartment is very clean & had a mini fridge in the room. Very centrally located to the main pedestrian street of the city, the metro, several grocery stores, restaurants, banks, and more. Room/bathroom were very clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Nice extras like water/coffee/oranges in the common area.

-It was really loud outside on Friday & Saturday night (random fireworks, people shouting in the street until after 0200, loud music). -Mattress/pillows were firmer than I prefer.

The property is a large apartment with a common kitchen and two rooms for rent (the rest is apparently kept private by the owner). We were met by our host at agreed time, she showed genuine interest in making our stay comfortable and was very nice. I appreciated that we were able to “checkout“ by simply leaving the key in the room without fuss (we had to leave very early in the morning). The room (3-bed) was spacious and had a fridge with welcome drinks! The best part was definitively the location! It is not too far from bus/train stations, the area is full of bars and restaurants, and all city attractions are just a short walk away. Would recommend to anyone who plans to stay for a night or two and explore the city on foot.

We were a bit bothered by a few things that we might have considered minimal if we only stayed for a night or two, but because we were there longer, they made our stay less comfortable: Breakfast was promised at the B&B. Instead you get coupons for a nearby cafe. We chose an option with breakfast included, because we like our breakfast in peace and don’t like going out first thing in the morning, so this was a letdown. More so because the choices at the cafe were limited (nothing dairy free or plant based), and after a day or so it was all very repetitive. Plus, coffee was the only choice of beverage (no option to replace it with juice or tea), which is unfortunate if you don’t drink it or are with kids. The common kitchen in the apartment had limited use. It had a coffee maker, but no microwave, and the stove appeared out of use. At least some utensils would be nice (spoons, plates, normal glasses etc.) The room itself could use an extra electric socket: we only found one that we could use, rest had nonstandard holes, or were taken by the fridge; one was hanging out of the wall, making us nervous about fire. Although the room is spacious enough, there was no closet. We were able to keep our stuff on the extra bed, but with 3 people in the room a place to unpack would really be needed. Also some hangers to dry the towels in the bathroom would be nice. Bed was a bit uncomfortable, but the pillows were nice. However, a duvet blanket with a duvet cover would really be an improvement; we only had a single thin sheet for cover, which was too cold for the night (we could have used the overall bed cover, but that seemed unhygienic, as that is where all people put their luggage due to lack of closets…). I would recommend to the owner to avoid entering the room without a warning, especially in the absence of the guests.

Super cute, freshly renovated appartment in the very center of Catania. Best water pressure I had in all of Italy ;) Hosts were very friendly and answered quickly, even brought some fresh mandarins. Looks like on the pictures.

It's a bit noisy outside, especially on the weekend. That's the price for being right in the center of a lively neighbourhood I guess ;)

It was a really nice to stay at the apartment. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also the whole communication was really easy and helpful. Next time I will for sure stay another time there.

The pillows were a little to hard for me 😉 but that was really the only thing I could say.

Perfect location next to where it al happens! The host was right on time and let me in before the check in time. Showed me the location and gave tips about the city and things to do. I got a big clean room with a good bathroom and private balcony with a view and sun. Also there was a charred living room with another big balcony and a nice spot to drink a espresso. My flight was later in the day and it was not a problem to check out later 👍
