Cosy retreat in beautiful Cornwall

It smelled weird and wasn’t clean. We found a few things left from previously tenants.

The property location was ok

The property was advertised as 1 double and 1 single bed. The single bed was a small z bed with thin mattress and adult could not sleep on. This was booked for contractors on a business trip and one of them ended up having to sleep in the van the second night it was that bad. The only bathroom in the place was in the bedroom so if the other person needed to loo in the night they had to walk through the other person asleep in the bedroom. The business will not be using this property again, and quite frankly should get a refund, however the property are not responding to booking.com….shambles

This well kept apartment with stunning views set beside an idyllic bluebell woods with a stream babbling through it was more than perfect for our get away. The owner is kind and well mannered replying fairly swiftly to my query. Although lacking substantial cooking amenities, for the price it can't be beaten! I will certainly consider returning in the future!

The road leading up to the property is quite narrow, larger vehicles and less confident drivers may struggle. A small cooker and washing machine would have been nice.

The location of the Old Mill here was perfect, as I noticed more so in the morning as it was raining during the evening when we went over there it was very close to the main town and for me personally it was nostalgic coming back to it. I loved its conversation from this old mill in to this modern flat! I would certainly stay here again for how good of a little gem this was to find last minute for an event I went to in town! The host was very much helpful to direct us to our destination.

There was nothing I could fault with the property, any inconsistency with the property like the heating for example, I was informed of on arrival.
