Cosy retreat in beautiful Cornwall

Exactly what we needed for a lightning stop, very comfortable bed and clean apartment

It was a home from home vibe.

Lovely quiet location, spacious living room.

The flat is the top floor of the Old Mill and the old building and lack of ventilation means that it is damp and the smell got into our clothes even with just 1 night stay.

Having to reverse out of a exceedingly narrow drive and then turn round and then when getting on to the road having to turn round again that was almost impossible.

It’s was very central to Helston with near by parking. It was pretty private. Interesting history re property. Owner was very helpful/friendly

Very poor standard of cleanliness. Pretty over priced for what it is sadly. Smelt of damp, shower head was broken, dirty shelves. I think we wouldn’t have been so put out by the negatives if it had cost less than £500 for three nights. I would have paid happily £60 a night. I thinks it’s very overpriced.
