Walnut on Russell

Beautifully done up cabin with modern, high quality furnishings. There was underfloor heating! Heated towel rails. There was a bag of walnuts (Walnut on Russell eh eh?) and a bottle of red to welcome us, which was a very lovely touch. Compendium was helpful to start us off. Great location, easy walk into town but far away enough that it’s quiet.

Staying at Walnut on Russell feels more like being invited to a friend’s own house. The lodge is carefully designed to be cozy and comfortable. And it is well equipped with everything from a washing machine, a dryer, a dishwasher to adequate tablewear and kitchenwear. The place is located in a residential area, so it's very quiet during the night; but it is also close enough to the town center, supermarkets and those popular food trucks, all within walkable distance. Hayley, the manager, has always been ready and more than willing to help. Highly highly recommend! 小木屋超漂亮超温馨，躺在床上就能看见窗外的落樱缤纷太浪漫了！还赠送了一袋他们自己种的核桃和一瓶本地红酒！超推荐的宝藏民宿了。

Modern and well located. Easy walk to town.

Sehr modern, liebevoller Empfang, gemütliche Einrichtung und Holz wirkt sehr edel. Haben uns wohl gefühlt trotz kleiner Punkte die bei einem etwas niedrigeren Preis sekundär gewesen wären.

Preis im Verhältnis zu hoch - Staub an den Armaturen im Bad nicht gut geputzt was bei der Preislage nicht i. Ordnung ist. Terasse hat keine Sonne und der Standort ist nicht so weitläufig wie auf den Fotos. Nebenliegende Cottages direkten Einblick wenn Jalousien oben sind.

I loved this place. It won me over with the generous sized soft towels! And the shower was great. It is quality throughout with thoughtful touches. An easy walk to restaurants and the lake front.

Good location, close enough to walk to cafes and shops but on a quiet side road. The cabin itself is very comfortable, super clean and well equipped. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The cabin ins't serviced which wasn't an issue for us at all but for anything more than a 2-3 night stay some additional dishwasher tablets and kitchen supplies would be helpful.

Die drei Häuschen sind modern, sehr komfortabel, durchdacht und luxuriös ausgestattet. Es gibt einen separaten Wohnraum mit einer vollständigen Küche, ein modernes Badezimmer in dem auch eine Waschmaschine und ein Wäschetrockner untergebracht sind, sowie ein Schlafzimmer mit breitem Bett. Mehr kann man sich nicht wünschen. Direkt vor den Hütten sind reservierte Parkplätze. Die Häuser liegen innenstadtnah. Die Managerin Hayley ist per email jederzeit erreichbar und kümmert sich innerhalb weniger Minuten. Der Aufenthalt war ein echtes Highlight meiner Reise und ich würde jederzeit wieder dorthin gehen.
