Emplacement très éloigné du centre, pas difficile d’accès en scooter mais à oublier à pied

The room was very spacious and we loved everything in the villa. The breakfast was delicious. We rented also the scooter which you will need to get around since the accommodation is 15min from the centre of Ubud.

Nuestra estancia ha sido maravillosa, el staff De la Villa son súper atentos súper educados, te contestan por WhatsApp casi al momento y te resuelven todas las dudas que tengas y más. Es un sitio muy auténtico y acogedor, la villa está como dentro de un templo con más casas donde vive una familia y son adorables, hay una abuelita que sabía que nos íbamos nuestro último día y nos ha regalado fruta. El precio en comparación con lo que es la villa es de 10, una estancia súper privada con una habitación sencilla pero perfecta y la parte del jardín es maravillosa. Solo tengo buenas palabras, aunque si es cierto que esta alejado del centro de ubud, nada que con un grab de 20 minutos no se arregle, lo volvería a coger 1000 veces.

I came as a solo traveller in the beginning and my friend joined me later. It is useful to know that the building is in the backyard of a traditional house. As I arrived alone and fairly late, the experience made me feel a bit uneasy. The building has 3 rooms only and felt a bit eery in the beginning as there is no reception and Kadek never actually introduced himself to me, I only saw a lady from time to time throughout the 6 days I stayed there. There are lots of roosters in the area and they make a lot of noise all day but I got used to them with time. My biggest problem however were the stray dogs that are in the street. If you are out after sunset, I recommend having a torch as the streetlights are very faint and on some parts of the street, non-existant. On one evening, I got surrounded by the dogs while walking to the nearby restaurant in the dark and almost got attacked. At least 4 of them were growling and barking at me while inching towards me. I managed to get away after shouting at them but it was a scary experience as I was alone. The location was tricky in terms of getting a taxi too, often nobody came as it is too far out for the drivers. Kadek does have a driver who is helpful but unfortunately he charges quite a bit more than others. All in all, I would say that this location is the best if you know how to ride a scooter and do not depend on the taxi drivers and like that, you can avoid wondering the dark streets on foot.

The villa is amazing. People are kind, breakfasts and facilities were amazing. TV with Wi-Fi in the room is also a bonus. You can use the fridge and the kitchen. The location isn't convenient though, it's like passing through someone else's house before you reach it, so please don't be surprised. There's lots of dogs in the area too, so if you're afraid of them, forget about walking by foot.

Everything at the propert meets the price value you pay to stay.

The following things could be improved: - breakfast options could be more continental - Water in bathroom should be accessible 24/7

The villa is really spacious and clean. Everything is in good condition and everything is working properly. It was the first stay where the quantity of towels was enough) And the kitchen is fully equipped and super clean, cooking there was a pleasure.

Lots of construction nearby( for me it's crucial. That was the only reason why we hadn't extended our stay. And one more unpleasant thing: the breakfast turned out to be not complimentary as it was stated
