Baran Swaha Villa

Amazing stay. Beautiful new guest house. Great rooms, great breakfast and fantastic service. Stayed for 16 nights and was super happy. It's 12 minutes drive on a scooter (which I hired at the place) so nice and quiet, which is just what I wanted. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

We really liked the villa! In this villa you can rent one of 3 rooms. The villa is new, located 15 minutes from the center of Ubud. The hostess is very friendly and cooks very tasty breakfasts. We asked to show how to cook Nasi Goreng, so that we could cook at home too. And in the morning, preparing breakfast for us, the hostess showed how to cook!! This is just wonderful, thank you very much for your hospitality ❤️

It was a little far from downtown Ubud but not too bad.

This property is AMAZING. As you arrive and walk in, you’re lead through a traditional household/area and you may be thinking “where am I going ?”. As you’re lead into the property, you’re greeted by a beautiful pool, and as you head inside, you can see that this property is very new. As far as value for money goes, I cannot be more grateful. We had 2 weeks here and felt as though we had found a rental that was our new home. The wifi is excellent so it made it easy to work, the kitchen is new (maybe needs a couple more cooking utensils), the room (we were downstairs) is HUGE and so is the bathroom, and so many seating areas and your own outdoor area to enjoy a quiet and private space.. it’s tucked away beautifully, about 12 mins from the centre of Ubud. So it’s quiet.. the staff, Uripp is the biggest sweetheart, ready to help with anything.. we really feel like we found a home here.

The smell because there are many animals around. You’re in the middle of a Balinese village area.. also if you’re sensitive to the sound of roosters, that’s a thing. But once we closed our room door it drowned out the sounds

Everything was amazing! The hosts were so lovely and the lady makes such delicious breakfast. Room was spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom. Swimming pool was a nice way to cool down after a hot day. Could not have asked for more. Amazing value for money. You can easily rent a scooter a drive to Ubud centre in about 15 min very easy.

Fantastic experience staying in Baran Swaha, the caretakers of the villa were very sweet and helpful and were supportive all the way through and made the stay a treat. Fantastic room and living spaces cleanliness at a high level and exceptional service. Beautiful location as well felt very local and with amazing views and greenery. Great pool and clean with nice temperature water and beautiful surroundings.

Kadek and Urip were so thoughtful and helpful throughout my stay and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. They helped me with information about the village and how to cut the local fruit. Kadek got me some items I needed and they fixed my laundry for me so I didn’t have to do it. They were really hospitable and easy to chat to. I loved the sun from both sides in the morning on the terrace and then in the morning and afternoon by the pool and then in the evening at the other side by the tables. It was great. Thank you for being so kind. I am sure we will meet again.

The perfect calm neighbourhood in the midst of greenery and authentic local atmosphere. The host, Kadek, helped us a lot: to rent a bike, organise hiking to Batur volcano and recommend restaurants. Awesome breakfasts. Just 15 mins away from Ubud downtown by motorcycle.
