Unpleasant smell in main hallway

Great location

Extremely fowl smell in hallway access to apartment permeating into property. Living room sofa bed quilt stained Bathroom sink extremely slow to drain ? Blocked somewhat

Was good enough for a short stay, the bedrooms was sound, reasonably comfortable

The hot/ cold water was very unpredictable. If you was having a shower the only option was to have it scolding hot the cold tap did nothing

Do not stay here. My sister and I decided to return home after 15 mins in the property because the smell was awful. It was like something had died and was rotting under the floorboards. I opened a kitchen cupboard and received a waft of another smell of damp - there is no way I would have put any food in those cupboards. The cleaner had done a good job - it wasn’t dirty but the furniture and decor were very tired. I have contacted the owners for a refund and have received no response at all in 7 days. After we got home I checked the other reviews and the smell has been noted up to 2 years ago - wish I’d read them before booking. We also saw a large rat during the day from the balcony in the courtyard behind the property - not somewhere you would want to spend a holiday.

We loved our stay! The flat was in such a great location and worked perfectly for what we needed. We'd definitely recommend and would love to stay again

The photos seem to be nice and stylish...large space indeed and good location if you decide to walk into the city directly

1. There is a long, narrow and super smelly staircase before you can enter the door to the apartment. It's not summer yet but the staircase smelt super super bad. I cannot breath when going up/down through it. 2. The light on the ceiling of living room is blinking. We cannot stay at living room at all due to lack of light. The large space turned to be a useless area. 3. The street was not convenient to park, if you come by car. I would suggest live outside Bath city, close to Park&Ride for people who come with a car. We actually ended up with driving out of the city after check out in the early morning (street parking is free 9pm-8am) and then took the P&R bus back into the city. If you travel by public transportation, thr location might be good for you as it is quite close to the center by walk. But definitely not good for car... 4. Found hair on the bed sheet...we are lucky that we took the sleeping liner with us. Beds were rather soft, unable to support the back after one day of traveling. 5. Heating did not work efficiently. Shower was impossible to stablize at one temperature, either too hot or just freezing. The room was quite cold. 6. Living room and kitchen is one level below the bedrooms and bathroom. You can hear the floor screaming very clearly even if you walk gently on the upper level with slippers. 7. Window did not stop the traffic noise from the street...

Drain smell, bathroom could do with some TLC - shower very weak and lukewarm.

The host sent instructions on how to collect the keys in time and it was really easy to get them on arrival. The kitchen was rather roomy and had everything needed.

The hot water situation. It was almost impossible to get the shower water to a bearable temperature, it was either ice cold or scalding hot. For the sinks there was no option to get warm water at all, there was only one tap for cold water. I wish there was a mixer tap (at least on the shower, it's 2025 and this should be standard). The front door was tricky to open but luckily didn't break down even though it is very old.
