White Horse Hotel

Great value for money with good sized room, nice shower etc. The location is quiet (when the pub closes) but suited me well. The hotel is presently the only pub in the village and does food too. Plus a nice Co-op store 2 mins walk away. And a nice community park just 10 mins walk with an excellent cafe.

2nd floor room could be a haul for some, but a beautiful stair well.

Excellent breakfast choices available, with bacon roll and tea being ours.

You get what you pay for, it was cheap and adequate. Lovely people and locals. We visited on a Sat night which was busy and noisey til 1.30am which wouldn't be ideal if you were planning an early getaway but im assuming other nights would be fine.

You get good value for money but if you need luxury then look elsewhere, personally i would return.

It was a very friendly atmosphere and very reasonably priced

Comfy bed. Close to where I needed to be.

The bar was open way late and the music was BLARING. I had a rotten night sleep. The food I had there was also below average. A tasteless macaroni cheese, packeted salad on a frozen hamburger and a bland bun.

Location was great. Right in the middle of a quiet town. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good pub meal in the bar.
