The Beach Retreat

The host already send me messages on whatsapp before we were at the location, so everything was clear when we arrived. It was easy to get into the property and the reception told us the location. We were already registered for the gate by Darren. The first impression of the caravan was above excellent. Everything was clean. A very cosy interior, tea and coffee was already supplied. Television with freesat internet, wifi all provided and also an alexa.

There was nothing that i didn't like.

We had a lovely stay at The Beach Retreat seaside caravan! Darren was incredibly helpful and welcoming — we really appreciated the detailed welcome pack, which included everything we needed to know about the caravan and the local area. He even added some great suggestions for nearby restaurants and attractions, which made exploring even easier. The caravan itself was spotless, tastefully decorated, and more spacious than we expected — the perfect spot for a relaxing break. Inside, it had everything we could possibly need, from a cozy lounge area and comfy beds to a well-equipped modern kitchen. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area — the ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee. If you’re after a peaceful seaside getaway with all the comforts of home, this caravan is a fantastic choice.

The only minor downside was the internet connection, but with such beautiful surroundings, it was easy to unplug and enjoy the moment.

Lovely caravan decorated with a home from home feel. The host was available if needed but also appreciated our privacy. A lovely place for our first family holiday with our 8 month old. We would recommend for families with young children.

Can’t really fault the place, however there was no dishcloth/sponge/tea towel in the kitchen which made it difficult to clean up properly. There was also a lot of dog hair on the carpet (we appreciate it is a dog friendly caravan but our baby got covered when he was playing on the carpet!)

Great place to take our two daschunds and elderly mother. Communication with Darren and Hannah was brilliant and checking in and out nice and simple. The dogs can run around the beach as much as they like. The area has some good pubs and takeaways nearby. It's very close to Fowey where you can park at the top with a fairly steep walk down to a really picturesque harbour and the great Quay Bakery. There is a nice little cafe at the caravan park and you park right next to the caravan. The caravan itself was excellent with a good shower. It's a very safe place to relax and unwind.

Right from booking we were notified of everything, Darren kept us up to date. The caravan was lovely, had everything we needed and was clean. The site is very well kept and is a very short walk to the beach. The caravan included free wi-fi, boats games and an Alexa, all your needs are thought of.

Fantastic location right next to the beach. Perfect for the kids and the dog.

We visited out of season, and although we were informed that the pool was not in operation, all the other facilities were not accessible either, including the tennis/football courts (they were being repainted). The cafe was also closed.
