The Beach Retreat

Spacious, clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. Fitted out with everything you need . Kids were snug , duvets were good quality .beds were comfortable. Lovely outside space if you have the sun. Site facilities are very good. The caravan is a minute or so walk to par beach which was lovely. Heating system excellent. Shower was great. Good location.

I don’t think there was anything weI didn’t like. There was only 1wine glass and the bedroom en-suite toilet door doesn’t lock but that’s not the end of the world. Everything else was in excellent order. Access for the pool requires booking on arrival but all slots were full on first day and the second. The staff were helpful and we managed to get a cancellation on our 2nd day so both kids could go in I and a booking on our 3rd and final day for. It might be helpful to be able to book a day or so in advance of your stay to avoid disappointment. The pool is very nice and not overcrowded as they keep it to a minimum number. It may be less of an issue in the summer months with the beach on your doorstep.

Accomdoation was homely, clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Enough to entertain the kids and room enough for 5 and a dog comfortably. Easy to find and a good location. The park was relaxing, no busy traffic, great for beach walks and on site amenities. Dog friendly too!

Nothing to complain about, weather was just about on our side, so we were able to make the most of it.

We had a weeks stay in this lovely caravan. Spotlessly clean and well equipped everything we required was supplied even biscuits for the dogs. The owners couldn't have been more helpful. Very close to a lovely dog friendly beach with a good pub which serves great food

The accommodation is spotless clean. Very homely and tastefully decorated. Nice added touch with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and dog treats. Tea towel, washing up liquid provided. Bedding spotless clean and fresh, bed was very comfortable, had a lovely nights sleep. Bathrooms were again spotless clean, soft towels were provided. Best treat of all a lovely bottle of prosecco cooling in the fridge. The park is kept immaculate. Lived that we were on the beach, dog had a great time. Couple of minutes walk to the village, there is a co-op, spar, fish and chips shop and the food in the Chinese takeaway was great. Train station and buses are in the village. The owners stayed intouch, and advised a few places to visit. The owners were realy easy to get hold of if you need anything. Perfect few days away in an amazing caravan, highly recommend.

There's nothing to not like.

For our trip we were primarily staying to visit the Eden project but the access to nearby lake and beach was a great bonus even on some cold and wet winter days. The size for us (2 adults and 2 under 5) was great, all the facilities you could want, a clean and tidy place to stay plus very clear instructions made the visit easy.

There were no issues, the only complaint I had was the weather!

Beautifully clean and well presented caravan on a well-kept, quiet site, a stone's throw from Par beach - which is dog friendly all year round. Even on a wet and windy New Year's Day, our whole family enjoyed the beach! The small but lovely onsite pool is a great bonus. You are a few minutes walk from amenities including a Co-op and a good Chinese takeaway, and a short drive from some gorgeous other Cornish highlights like Charlestown. The host, Darren, was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with - thank you Darren!

A lovely property in a great location. Close to the beach and a short walk to all you need in terms of shops etc. Very pet friendly too including the beach. Good value for money and hosts were friendly and gave helpful information before arrival to make it a good stay. The site itself was great for families. We enjoyed using the pool and the cafe which were a short walk from the property. Highly recommend for a short or longer break.
