The decor. The skylights. The shower. The breathtakingly beautiful garden setting, complete with fountain. The garden view from the front windows. How completely the kitchen is furnished. The location -- perfect for walking and shopping in Dorking, convenient to supermarkets.

Small glitch in getting the door code when I arrived on a Sunday. This was a one-off.

"The perfect little hideaway"

Perfect little studio chalet not far from the high street but far enough to be away from the bustle for quiet nights in. Very helpful host, and really happy after we were able to book very last minute.

"Most relaxing R&R stay to recharge the batteriers."

Real sense of being in the country, squirrels, birds and the piece & quiet. Room is well designed with modern equipment. You can sit outside under shelter so weather conditions not an issue.

The property is beautifully appointed (and well maintained ) and had everything we needed for our weekend break. Dorking town is only a 5 minute walk away but the property is situated in a very quiet area, which gave the feeling of being in the countryside rather than a town. James is the perfect host, ensuring we had all the information needed and available if we needed him but left us to enjoy his lovely Garden Studio.
