Hostal Poquito a Poquito

The hotel has a beautiful pool in the center of the courtyard set with lounge chairs, its beautiful. Lupita was very helpful in check-in and I actually felt so comfortable I extended my stay one more night, its perfectly located to ADO bus station, and the collectivo to get to chichen nitza, theres also cenote zaci walking distance, great stay and clean and friendly environment. I also had a minor trip visiting the ruins and Lupita helped me with alcohol and bandages, she is a great human being and wonderful addition to your hotel and made me very comfortable, thanks Lupita.

Staff were really lovely, the design of the hotel was fabulously quirky with beautiful outdoor spaces and a good location..Super comfortable bed...a great stay.

There was no window in the room, just a gap between external wall and ceiling which mean that you could hear people snoring, talking and walking in the corridor. Not a huge issue, but earplugs recommended if you're a light sleeper

Really looked after and nice hostel, staff treated and looked after us well. Showers are stocked with body & hair wash, towels and robes are also provided. Breakfast available for an small additional fee per day, also a kitchen with a fridge for you to cook & keep food

The only suggestion i have, and as i believe it is quite a new hostel i am sure it is on its way to have this, it needs more pots & pans in the kitchen, and could benefit from a second and/or third hob for guests to cook. One night we had to wait a while as it was being used. There was a bit of noise when the rooms are as the walls don’t reach the ceiling, so you’ll a-sensually in a concrete cubicle. But this didn’t ruin our stay, it is expected when stay in a hostel to be honest

The ceiling is open to the hallway and other rooms, meaning you hear EVERYTHING.

The staff is super friendly and the pool area is very cute. The showers and toilets are clean, it doesn't feel like a hostel. I've been to expensive hotels that aren't as good as this place. I recommend for a night or two. Very central, close to everything you need, 5 minutes walk to the downtown cenote.

The fans are unbelievably noisy. Noisy enough to cover the guy snoring next door 🤣

The room was quite loud as the privates have open ceilings between each other so you could hear everyone’s doors closing/people talking Breakfast was a little disappointing but still good to be included in the price Not being able to fill up your own water but the staff were happy to fill it for you
