Aadiv Twin Villas

The view is absolutely breathtaking. The place is so peaceful and the team is so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is large, like a luxury hotel suite. I adored my stay. I was asked to choose what I wanted for breakfast (from a list of options) and it was huge and delicious. The villas are about 30 mins in a Tuktuk from the entrance to the rainforest that I needed for the full day trek but I think more than worth it to have the mountain views that you wouldn't have if you were by the entrance of the rainforest. I didn't use the pool but it was great to have the option.

Amazing view from the property and really nice and spacious rooms. The rooms were really clean and the air conditioning worked well. The hosts at the hotel were all really friendly and helpful. There was a pool with a really nice view as well. The food at the restaurant was decent and made fresh which was a nice bonus.

Just nitpicking here since there are not a lot of negatives but if I have to write something: - the food was fresh but it took about 1.5 hours to prepare. It would have been good to know this before hand - I don’t remember reading there were stairs to go up to the property. Wasn’t a problem for us but might be for someone with mobility problems.

Stunning views and a peaceful location. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing.

Nice cosy cabana like experience. View and the pool adds to the value of the property. There was a great breakfast. Close to Sinharaja entrance.

Beautiful property. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. We have stayed at 10 hotels in Sri Lanka so far and this one was the best.

Nothing we didn’t like

The villa was beautifully designed, clean and comfortable, offering the perfect setting for relaxation. Nestled amidst tea estates, the location was both tranquil and rejuvenating. Situated between the Pitadeniya and Kurulugala entrances of the Sinharaja Forest Reserve. We absolutely loved the food. The staff’s warm hospitality and attentiveness truly elevated our experience, making it a stay to remember.

During our three unforgettable weeks in Sri Lanka, this was undoubtedly THE best place we stayed. Everything about it was flawless, but what made it truly stand out was the magical setting. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the villa offers an unparalleled connection to nature – you genuinely feel like you’re immersed in the rainforest, which isn’t surprising given that the stunning Sinharaja Forest Reserve is just moments away. Whether you’re lounging by the serene pool or relaxing on your private balcony, the vistas are like nothing I’ve experienced before – vibrant, tranquil, and endlessly captivating. The villa itself is equally impressive, with a warm wooden chalet vibe. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you’d need, including a fridge, plenty of sockets, and cosy furnishings. It felt like a luxurious home away from home. The attention to detail here was exceptional. Having stayed in several five-star hotels, I can confidently say this villa meets, if not exceeds, that standard. The staff deserve special mention – they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. They arranged everything for us, from TukTuks to local tours, and even went above and beyond to make my 30th birthday celebration extra special, complete with personalised touches. The pool was another highlight – beautifully maintained, it was the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. And the food? Simply sublime. Dining in their charming greenhouse-style restaurant, surrounded by the garden’s lush greenery, was an experience in itself. Each meal was a delight, made even better by the panoramic views. In short, everything about this place was exceptional. If you’re looking for a blend of luxury, nature, and outstanding hospitality, this is it. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
