Parada Beach Camp

One of the best stays we’ve had in the country! The staff made this so special for us! We had an incredible island hopping tour that made it all worth it! Did I mention the food was incredible? Probably the best one we had in the country in a whole month

Location idyllic, really beautiful little island. Great facilities: pool very clean and refreshing, little workout area outside, free filtered water, common toilets/showers very clean. Nice activities available. Staff so so friendly and helpful, especially Ellen and Jay. Ellen was also really helpful and accommodating when we had to make a last minute change to our reservation. Food really amazing, beach and sights close by amazing too.

Beware: location is NOT CORRECT on the map on booking.com … the resort is actually on Iloc island, and the transfer from El Nido takes closer to 2-3 hours… basically be aware that once you’re on the island you’re stuck there … this led us to shortening our stay from 5 nights to 2 nights, as we quickly realised that although very relaxing and beautiful, there isn’t an awful lot to do on Iloc.

The WiFi is starlink, so extremely fast and was perfect for us working remotely, the menu was basic, so I tried everything!! I’d reccomend the banana pancakes and if I had to be critical I’d say the beef nachos aren’t anything special (others in the group loved them though). It is very remote, but that’s what we wanted, it was extremely chilled out, beautiful sunsets and an amazing pool.

Nothing really, the bathroom situation was expected (seperate toilet stall to the tents), but more toilets are being installed, so this will be solved

The place is absolutely stunning! I knew it would be beautiful, but it honestly feels like paradise. That said, don’t expect 10/10 cleanliness or all the usual amenities you'd find at a high-end hotel — just a reminder, you’re staying in a tent on an island! Would 100% stay again and recomend to anyone else thinking about it. But for a short escape from all the noise, it’s perfect. The views are incredible, and the food is really good!

The staff could be a bit more attentive. When you're lounging by the pool or beach, it’d be nice to have someone check in and ask if you’d like a drink or snack instead of having to get up each time — it kind of feels like you're bothering them. Also, I love dogs (I have five at home!), but during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it’d be great if the staff could help keep them away from the tables. They tend to sit right next to you, and it’s tough trying to eat while gently trying to push them off. Maybe the staff could step in a bit more so guests don’t have to shoo them away themselves.

Perfect for a honeymoon! The installations were perfect and the location idilic for a romantic getaway! The owners were very helpful and such nice people. The food was incredible also!

There were a lot of flies but we know it’s a problem that they cannot solve haha

They do very good food and I’m a chef so we were happy to receive great food on this tiny part of the island The boat trip to the village was a highlight The local village and water for swimming is stunning and the private islands all to ourselves, no tourists or crowded on this beautiful part of the Palawan We absolutely loved it and Ellen and the staff all amazing Little piece of paradise here that I highly recommend

I had an exceptional stay at Parada. Friendly folks, private and secluded, awesome food (courtesy Chef Louie), scenic and awesome in all ways if you need some down time. There is a local village and a secluded beach at a few minutes walk. You can hike up the mountains for some beautiful views. The friendly pets are always around to keep you company. The tent was spacious for 1 (and should be good for 2). Went for a boat tour and found some good snorkelling spots and islands to chill at. The folks are warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay. Special shouts to Beanne, Ram and Louie for sharing their love.

These are things are DID NOT bother me, but are worth considering. Due to a technical fault, they didn't have power for some parts of the day and midnight to morning everyday. The island is secluded.. an 1hr drive from El Nido towncentre to Sibaltan Insland and then a 1hr ferry transfer to Parada. You will need to bring a good attitude to find your happy place there as what you can do there is fairly limited. You can snorkel directly from the camp but you ll need to swim a fair bit into the ocean first.
