The Lakes Rookley Holiday Park by Away Resorts

The guys on the lake doing the activities where lovely and very welcoming thank you We travelled with the whole family 7 children raging from 21 to 5yrs 43 to 57 and there was so Thing for everyone we had our son with us who is servely autistic and he went completely out his comfort zone to get in a kayak but the staff on the lake where so calm and caring and he done activity that we thought he would never do so thank you so much x

Indoor pool was amazing bar food was excellent and a great price. Staff so friendly and helpful.

Our caravan was lovely in a quiet area,the lake was lovely too.there was a southern co-op a few minutes walk from our holiday park, the places we visited were not far to travel by car.the food was lovely at the guest services restaurant but not the takeaway. We enjoyed Godshill model village, the cafe in godshill had lovely food.Blackgang chine we loved and Needles too. It was lovely and warm in our caravan,the heating was great.

The takeaway I had one night was horrible,the beer was expensive at guest services bar.not being able to hire an iron or ironing board,I would have to pay and not get a refund.i did have to pay for extra towels,which was okay I suppose. Did not have an actual space by the caravan. Lighting on caravan park wasn't very well lit at night.

The complex was lovely and the lodge was very nice with a good view.

The front room of the lodge had a terrible smell of dog and the sofa and curtains were covered in dog hairs. The patio windows were covered in dog smudges.

That there was no entertainment on . And pub area was only small .

Lovely location and a good size resort.

No homely touches to the lodge - absolutely stinks in both of the toilets no matter what - smells like sewage. Most of the cutlery was old and all the utensils were old or burnt at the handles - you would think they would have brought new ones - they aren’t expensive to buy so it’s quite disappointing. Most of the furniture was dusty or chipped and no tv in bedrooms - not enough of everything such as washing up liquid - you would think they thought 2 of us were staying there but it was booked for 6 - didn’t get a welcome hamper like I did last time - it’s gone really down hill in my opinion - very disappointed.
