Peaceful caravan site. Lovely well kept environment with lots of plants , bushes , trees as well as the lakes. Comfy bed and relaxing central place to stay to visit all the lovely areas on the IOW.

The location was alright and the scenery.

We had to wait for another hour to check in. Customer service was very poor and they did not respond well.It appears they were racist and was ignoring us. No Wi-Fi connection eventhough we send a message if they can relocate us to another accommodation but no response. Cancellation of activities via phone and was still waiting for an update for our refund till to date.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, making the experience pleasant from the moment I arrived. Rookerly is conveniently located in an easily accessible area, which made getting there simple and hassle-free.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The mattress was too small for the bed and had been placed upside down, which caused significant back pain during the night. After checking it, I discovered that the mattress appeared to be stained with urine and was damp. There was also dampness and mold visible behind the headboard and in the bathroom. As a result, we woke up with painful backs and did not feel well-rested. Additionally, when it was windy or raining, the tree branches rubbed against the camping accommodation, creating noise throughout the night and making it very difficult to sleep. Overall, the accommodation needs better maintenance and attention to cleanliness.

A central location on the island roughly half an hour from any of the attractions to be seen. Dog friendly.
