Urban Girl Hostel

The location is alright, there is a bus line directly to Fort train station. Toilets were clean enough and there is free drinkable water.

I paid 1800rs for a 42(!) Beds dorm, some of the staff was unfriendly, they ignored my phone call when I called and wanted to check in and there were obvious stains on my bed sheets. I would not come back and didn't feel good there, for one night it was sufficient.

Noisy - the staff is noisy during the evening/night, sheets not very clean.

New place in good location. Very comfortable! All is new, inside a lot of space! Missing only soft light for night time and WiFi password )

Nice place! I stayed at this place twice, it was my first experience in dormitory and it was good! Clean, the people are so nice there. At reasonable price. Only for women. Mostly European backpacker girls stay there. They provide a common sofa, chilling zone with books and even kitchen with kettle. Every bed has sockets for charging and small fan. There are shared and private shower rooms. If I ever come to Colombo again I will stay here. I recommend this place.

Mosquitos 😅

There is a water station available and the price is very good for a few nights after the flight.

There were people drinking outside until 4am both nights so I couldn't sleep.
