"Best choice for greyhound bag packer! I love Tampa, for the experience and the people who are soooo friendly and support"

10.0

I paid about $50 per night and got a bunk-bed room with a private bathroom! Location is great, 15min walk from Greyhound bus station and 18 min walk from bus station to St. Petersburg. I arrived late around 11 PM, and the self check-in process was very smooth. The shared bathrooms were spotless, and the room came with towels, toiletries, and multiple hangers. The bed was huge—the lower bunk can easily fit two people, and the upper bunk fits one. There’s also a self-service laundry machine $2.25 for wash and $2.25 for dryer, a kitchen, and a backyard where you can sit and relax. The soundproofing was great too. On my last day, I met the owner and we had a really pleasant conversation. I asked if I could leave my bag here and come back in the evening to pick it up, and he surprisingly told me I could just leave it in the room. People in Tampa feel incredibly generous and warm.

My experience is beyond my expectations, though there’s slightly little flaws. My room is clearly newly renovated, though, and the smell of fresh paint/chemicals was quite strong and make me dizzy every time I stepped into the room. The floor, door and wall within the room was also a bit messy and stinky. (the share place is great!) The private bathroom didn’t have hot water in the shower so I go used the shared one, and I couldn’t find a hairdryer.

"If you’re ever in Tampa, stay here. You’ll understand why I’ll forever love this place"

10.0

From the moment I arrived, I knew this hostel in Tampa was something special. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. The staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel at home — they weren’t just employees, they felt like friends who genuinely cared. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had that cozy, community vibe that’s hard to find anywhere else. The common areas were perfect for meeting people from all over the world — I met travelers who became lifelong friends here. Whether it was sharing stories in the lounge, cooking together in the kitchen, or just relaxing outside enjoying the Florida sun, every moment felt real and unforgettable. The location was also amazing — close to everything worth seeing in Tampa but still quiet enough to relax and recharge. I felt safe, appreciated, and inspired the entire time I was there. This hostel will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s more than just a place to stay — it’s an experience, a little community, and a reminder that kindness and connection can turn any trip into something truly meaningful. If you’re ever in Tampa, stay here. You’ll understand why I’ll forever love this place. ❤️
