Ferry Beach House

Lovely property - only fault was the iron wasn’t working properly and needs replacing - the fault was known because it had a warning label on it - would have been better if it had been removed and replaced prior to the next booking - other than that super property !

Beautiful situation on the beach, roomy and comfy, well equipped

No wardrobe space - only 1 bedroom had wardrobe space. No water comes out of the hot tap in sink in the downstairs toilet blinds are not practical - they do not make the rooms dark enough. A new mattress is needed on the futon - you can feel the wood slats The dining table only seats 4 people comfortably

Great waterfront location, spacious accommodation, interesting trinkets in rooms.

Liked everything, although the books, ornaments and trinkets were over-attractive to a 4 year old!

Loved the view, the decoration of the property and the location. I think having ambient lights in the lounge would be relaxing other than that, perfect. Will book again.

The house is lovely and very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and cosy. The location is excellent: shops and restaurants close by; practically on top of the river; train station round the corner; coastal walks on the doorstep.

As per the advert, there are quite a few steps to the door, and the inside steps are quite steep as well, so be mindful of this if you have mobility issues. In addition, car parking can be an issue - there are lots of spaces, but Broughty Ferry is a very popular place. The best time to get a convenient space is probably nearer time for shops closing. A standard lamp in the sitting room is needed - putting on the 'big lights' is a watse of electricity. Finally, this house can sleep up to eight people and should have a dining table to reflect this - it shouldn't be 'on request'. There is ample room in the beautiful sitting room. We did love our stay, and these things didn't adversely affect us.

We came for my daughters 21st Birthday , The house was just gorgeous a modern quirky and retro theme throughout I loved every room. The view though😍 just heaven waking up to a view of the water was just so therapeutic . Our hosts left lovely cakes and a little card welcoming us for my daughter’s birthday which we really appreciated. Broughty Ferry itself is a fab location lots of lovely shops and eating places and a stones throw from Dundee
